About me
My name is Mindy McCleskey. I moved to El Paso, Texas from Baton Rouge, Louisiana about two years ago. Since moving here in December my husband and I have rescued two dogs that we love dearly from the local pound and Humane Society. My husband, Chris, enlisted in the army four years ago, and has lived in El Paso for all of that time. I recently moved out here after finishing college at Louisiana State University. (Geaux Tigers!)
Teaching has always been a passion for me and something that I greatly enjoy. In high school I loved tutoring and working with younger grades, which developed into my career choice upon entering college.
Although I miss Louisiana terribly, El Paso has been a positive adjustment and a city that has grown dear to my heart. I hope that I am able to get to know all of my students and their families very well so we can have a successful year in preparing for First Grade.
